Bottom line………Buy US………..The iron beds that were being manufactured back in the early to mid 1800’s in this country were far superior to the iron beds being made at the same time in England and the rest of the world.
Very few iron beds we’ve done for magazine shoots have ever received the attention and coverage that this one did with Halle Berry.

As is well documented, the Art Nouveau period was peaking between 1890 and 1905…..well after the popularity of iron beds had been around and flourishing.
In the very early 1800’s the population in this country had become very accustom to and happy with wooden bed frames. When iron beds were first introduced to the public, they were strictly utilitarian and little ornamentation and design were offered. It didn’t take long for the small independently owned foundries in the Tr-State area…
Draping was a very popular design element, when it came to fancier iron beds.
