The setting a bed is going in to should determine how plain or fancy it should be. It actually goes the opposite in many instances. If a bedroom setting is really busy, you may want the bed you select, to be plainer and less fancy so as not to complete with the other elements in the room. If a room is plain…..you may want to consider a fancy scrolled bed to pick up the life of the otherwise dull surroundings.
Iron beds can make or brake a setting. If the one you select is too close to the style an ornateness of the room, they’ll both be lost. So try and select one that will give you some needed contrast, and not just wash away because of their sameness.
