Quite often a bedroom doesn’t have the needed width on a wall for a traditional double/full size antique iron bed frame. The reason for that is usually the placement of windows. Todays upholstered and wooden headboards have to be ruled out because of the interruption of light and view. Always check the height of the window sill to make sure the height of you iron bed headboard is tall enough to look appropriate. Remember…..pillows will also impact on the overall look and can easily be changed for a higher configuration or lower to enhance the light and view.
