Few images conjure up a romantic setting like that of a canopy iron bed. Even when the iron bed is not an authentic antique iron bed, the setting, canopy top, and way it’s dressed will determine the effect the owner is trying to achieve. Over the years I’ve converted countless iron beds to canopy and the effect it delivers to an otherwise mediocre iron bed can be amazing. Some of the most dramatic transformations I’ve done have been the simplest designed iron beds I’ve had. The client wanted an authentic old iron bed for their daughter or guest bedroom, and didn’t have much of a budget to start with. For an additional $195. we can convert any iron bed into a real work of art.
So if you’d like to get a lot more bang for your buck……… you might want to consider adding a canopy top to you iron bed. You certainly won’t be disappointed. And for those of you with much more elaborate scrolled Victorian iron beds, you might want to visit my company FaceBook page and take a look at the “Before & After” Canopy Conversion photo Album. I have a ton of fancy scrolled Victorian style iron beds that have been made to look even more impressive.
